Ephesus mint, Thrace. Diademed head of Alexander the Great, deified, wearing horn of Ammon, facing right. This coin was struck ca. 294-287 B.C. Athena enthroned left, holding Nike, which crowns the king's name. Athena rests left arm on shield, spear resting diagonally in background. Bee between symbols in inner left field.
