BC ALEXANDER PORTRAIT DRACHM VF Choice very fine with superb toning. The
drachms of this issue are seen much less often than the tetradrachms.
Ephesus mint, Thrace. Diademed head of Alexander the Great, deified, wearing
horn of Ammon, facing right. This coin was struck ca. 294-287 B.C. Athena
enthroned left, holding Nike, which crowns the king's name. Athena rests
left arm on shield, spear resting diagonally in background. Bee between
